[Watch] World’s Biggest Containership, Ever Ace Passes The Suez Canal Successfully

Evergreen Line’s Ever Ace, which is the biggest container-ship in the world, has successfully transited Egypt’s Suez Canal on Saturday, 28th August. The 24,000 TEU vessel was delivered on 29th June, by the Samsung Heavy Industries.

The Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority, Osama Rabie overtook the responsibility of the giant vessel’s tracking the giant 400-metre long vessel’s navigation movements, to ensure a safe passage of the ship.

Rabie mentioned, that about 145 ships, belonging to the Evergreen Line has crossed the Suez Canal from the beginning of the year, amounting to a total tonnage of 22.4 million tonnes.

The Ever Ace can accommodate about 3,000 more twenty-foot containers, than the infamous Ever Given. The company’s flagship container-ship, which blocked the Suez Canal for six days, chocking the global supply chain.
