Cyclone Tauktae: 22 Dead, 65 Missing after Tauktae hits Mumbai

A Barge named P305 has been left adrift, causing the death of as many as 22 people, and another 65 missing, along the Bombay Coast in Arabian Sea.

The Indian Coast Guard & The Indian Navy have been working round the clock since then, to rescue people from the Barge.

Indian Navy revealed to have rescued 186 people, out of the 273 onboard. Further, 2 other barges and an oil rig went adrift, when the cyclone made landfall. All of the crew, in which, has been successfully rescued.

Indian Navy is continuing the rescue operation, using the warship INS Kochi, INS Teg, INS Betwa, INS Kolkata and more.
