A series of cyberattacks have recently hit some of the major oil terminals in Europe on Friday. This includes the terminals in Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany which were hit with confirmed victims including SEA-Tank Terminal in Antwerp, while Oiltanking Deutschland and Mabanaft declared force majeure in Germany.

An initial report from German security services identified the tool named BlackCat ransomware used in the cyberattack in Germany, according to the German newspaper Handelsblatt.
